Multiload Endoscopic Applier
As part of a team project for UC San Diego Health, developed a multi-load endoscopic clip applier designed for use with the da Vinci surgical robot. The device enables sequential deployment of surgical clips without reloading, improving efficiency during minimally invasive procedures. Led efforts in design verification to ensure the device met defined user needs, conducted risk reduction testing, and followed ISO-aligned quality protocols throughout development. Supported vendor sourcing and BOM creation while iterating on the design to meet strict spatial constraints (8mm port).
